Organize sessions
With hundreds of saved hosts, organization matters. TermZ gives you three orthogonal ways to sort — mix and match them freely:
- Folders — a familiar tree for grouping by site, customer, or environment.
- Tags — lightweight labels a session can have many of (e.g.
prod,core,dc-east), great for cross-cutting filters. - Equipment types — classify a host by device kind (router, switch, firewall, server…), each with its own icon, so the sidebar is scannable at a glance.
Bulk move & tag
Section titled “Bulk move & tag”Bulk operations let you move, tag, or retag many sessions at once — handy right after importing an inventory. Select the sessions in the tree, then apply the move or tag to all of them together.
Custom equipment types
Section titled “Custom equipment types”The built-in device types are read-only, but you can add your own. Manage them in Settings → Device types → Manage device types… — create a custom type, and it becomes available to assign to any session.
